How to get to Nettuno
Nettuno is on the coast south of Rome, about 60 km from the city. It is easy to reach by train, no car needed: the station is a 5-minute walk from La Fontana apartment on Piazza Mazzini.
By train from Rome
The FL8 regional line runs from Roma Termini to Nettuno in about an hour to an hour and ten minutes. There are several trains a day, more frequent on weekdays than at weekends. Regional tickets are sold at the station, on the Trenitalia app or website.
From Nettuno station to the apartment it is a flat 5-minute walk: head towards the centre and you arrive in Piazza Mazzini, in front of the Neptune Fountain.
From Fiumicino airport
Take the Leonardo Express to Roma Termini, about half an hour, and from there the FL8 train to Nettuno. Allow about two hours in total, including waiting times. Alternatively, book a private transfer or rent a car.
From Ciampino airport
Shuttle buses run from Ciampino to Roma Termini, where you take the FL8 train to Nettuno. If you land late in the evening, consider a transfer: the last train to Nettuno usually leaves Termini around 10 pm, but check the timetable for your day.
By car
From Rome it takes about an hour without traffic, via the Via Pontina or the Via Nettunense. On summer weekends, beach traffic can make the journey longer.
Near the apartment there is a large paid public car park right behind the building and paid (blue-line) street parking along the main road. Free (white-line) parking is about 300 m away.
When you arrive
Check-in is from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm and we welcome you in person. Let us know your arrival time, also on WhatsApp: if you come by train, we will send you directions from the station.
